Can an online test diagnose ADHD?
Short answer
No. Online questionnaires like the WHO ASRS can only show whether a full assessment may be worth it. A diagnosis needs a trained specialist and a full assessment, including your history.
What a screener is good for
It gives you a clear starting point and examples to take to your GP.
What it can't do
It can't rule ADHD in or out. It also can't tell ADHD apart from things that look similar, like anxiety, low mood or sleep problems.
