Can ADHD come with other conditions?

Short answer

Yes. The NHS says people with ADHD often have other conditions too, such as anxiety, depression, addictions, or a learning difficulty like dyslexia. Some conditions, like autism, Tourette's or anxiety, can also cause similar signs.

Why this matters

A GP or specialist will think about other conditions that could explain your signs, so you get the right support.

Having more than one condition is common, and each one can be supported.

How Clairemind helps

Our 'Other traits' check uses published questionnaires: GAD-7 for anxiety, PHQ-9 for low mood and AQ-10 for autism traits. Like the ADHD check, it is screening only.
