Talking to staff about focus and workplace adjustments

If a team member mentions ADHD, a calm, practical conversation about what helps is a good start.

Screening is not a diagnosis. You can ask for help without being certain that ADHD is the explanation.

Focus on needs, not labels

NICE recommends that people with ADHD are supported with reasonable adjustments at work and in education.

Ask what would help and agree a review date. You do not need a diagnosis to have that conversation.
